Dear partner,
I would like to start this newsletter by quoting Richard Bach: “Don't believe what your eyes are telling you. All they show is limitation. Look with your understanding. Find out what you already know and you will see the way to fly.” It points out the philosophy Aviabel wants to follow. With our partners we want to service clients in the best possible way, with creativity and technical knowhow. In this new edition of our newsletter we present you Satec, an Italian underwriting agency and important partner of Aviabel. It also celebrates the rehiring of Ariane Vandervelde as one of our underwriters. I hope you enjoy the newsletter.

Give us your feedback on our service
As per our previous newsletter, we are continuously aiming to improve the service that we provide to our brokers and customers. Over the last few months, we have been re-thinking the ways that we can be contacted and have trained our staff to the new procedures, keeping in mind to maintain things as straightforward as possible for you. We have introduced the new Technical Assistance email address ta@aviabel.com where you can contact us for all your queries or requests regarding your insurance policy, like for example if you need a copy of your contract or if you want to make a change to your policy. And of course you can always contacts us at claims@aviabel.com and info@aviabel.com if you have a query about a claim or need any other information. If you prefer to speak to someone directly, please call us on +32 (0)2 349 12 11 with your contract number or your aircraft’s registration number at hand and our reception will happily transfer your call to the appropriate department that can take care of your request.

We would like to remind our brokers that, as of the beginning of this year, Aviabel has subscribed to the Xchanging Ins-Sure Services and is a member of the LIRMA bureau using stamp A6600. This is an important step for a continental carrier like Aviabel which will streamline further the post-bind processing of claims and premiums through the London Processing Centre (LPC). If you are also a member of LIRMA and would like to process a piece of business via the bureau, please mention it to our underwriters early in the placement process.
On a similar note, if you are contacting us about a claim which is being processed through the Xchanging bureau, please inform our claims department so they handle your request more effectively.
